One has to wonder if Peter Kinder knows that he is supposed to be the presumptive head of the GOP in Missouri.  This morning, GOP leaders Rupp and Nodler said the state should not be so stimulated and want a budget without any federal money in it. .  But this afternoon, Kinder said NOT SO FAST.  He says Federal Stimulus money is a great thing and he will take all the stimulation he can get. 

Kenny Hulshof, who told the Republican faithful he was opposed to embryonic stem cell research, apparently has a different attitude now that he needs to make a little money.  Hulshof has joined the Polsinelli Law Firm to work out of their D.C.

AP reports that Marc Farinella, former campaign manager for Governor and Senator Carnahan, has delivered North Carolina for Barack Obama!  Way to go, Marc!

Its hard for voters to follow what's going on in down-ballot races.  Tell those undecideds that the A.G. race is easy.  All they need to know is that Jay Nixon wants Chris Koster to be our next A.G. and Matt Blunt's giving his money to Mike Gibbons.  Whose policies would they prefer from the state's chief law enforcement officer?

Last week Mike Gibbons screamed like a McCain Volunteer carving a B on her cheek while looking in a mirror when Chris Koster's ad quoted the Post Dispatch's reporting that Gibbons supported clemency for a murderer.  Said Gibbons:  "We’re calling on him to pull off the ad.

Peter Kinder is again calling for a redistribution of wealth.  By the GOP standards, his proposals make him at least a socialist and probably a Marxist.  Its not enought that Peter re-distributed our money to his office staff by giving them huge raises during the election cycle, now Peter wants to call a special session of the legislature and give more than $100 million to seniors and low income people (actually, I don't think he does, I bet he called Blunt in advance and said please don't actually call a special session

Mike Gibbons is cleary freaked out that someone says he supported clemency for a convicted murderer.  So today, Mike Gibbons took a play from the Ted Stevens play book (what goes on "around the teepee" is my wife's resonsibility) and threw his own law partner under the bus.  Seems Gerry Ortbals, a partner at Gibbons' law firm, was representing the killer and asked the Governor for Clemency. 

Apparently Matt Blunt is feeling a little marginalized these days.  After all, people are blaming Sarah Steelman for Kenny Hulshof rather than Matt Blunt.  Anywho, Blunt issued a press release today saying he's "concerned about the integrity of the election."  Feel free to write your own joke here.  Suggested topics include the integrity of Matt Blunt's approach to open records, the integrity of Matt Blunt's former Agriculture Dire
