Sadly my friends, a month after I quit as Mike Evans campaign manager, he continues to be a thief, by using services and products he never paid for as well as lies so much he can't tell the truth. Missouri Democrats deserve better.

* Mike Evans promised to pay me $1500 a month for general consulting. I have not recieved payment. He reported $4500 was incurred but then lies and claims to some people I was a volunteer.

As Sam Page prepares to announce on Monday he's running for Lt. Governor, Mike Evans was campaigning in Saint Louis today. Also, his first "interview" of the campaign was printed today on Mike Ferguson's blog at : http://www.mikefergusononline.com/new.php?article=060207 This will be an interesting race. Money can't buy you love and political history shows it can't buy you a political office either which bodes well for populist and progressive candidates like Evans!

Mike Evans, a Democrat running for Lt. Governor of Missouri in 2008, has released a proposed Ethics Reform Plan to reshape the Ethics Commission for the State of Missouri and make it harder for elected officials to skirt ethics laws when obtaining financial benefit while serving in the office. The broad ranged plan includes new laws for staff of legislative members.
