No leadership from Kinder
Submitted by Anna Boone on Wed, 07/23/2008 - 8:10am.Sam Page asked for Peter Kinder to voice his opinion on an important Federal Medicare Bill. Knowing our elected official's thoughts and opinions on legislation is important for the citizens of our state so we can make up our mind on how to vote. Arrogantly, a Kinder spokesperson has refused to let Kinder's opinion be known saying that Sam Page's question does not warrant a response.
Excuse me!

Page defeats Kinder in second quarter!
Submitted by Anna Boone on Thu, 07/17/2008 - 8:48am.
Sam Page defeated Peter Kinder in second quarter fund raising according to the News Leader.
For a challenger with primary opponents to out-raise an incumbent is great news for the challenger and bad news for the incumbent.
In a related story, the News Leader reports that Kinder managed to spend more than he raised in the second quarter.

More bad news for Hulshof
Submitted by Anna Boone on Tue, 07/15/2008 - 8:14am.It seems that Peter Kinder has endorsed Kenny Hulshof. Considering that the success of Kinder's past endorsements have lead to the expression "Kinder's Kiss of Death" a Kinder endorsement can only be "bad news" for the person being endorsed.
Of course Hulshof will lose to Jay Nixon anyway so maybe "Kinder's Kiss of Death" does not matter in the case of Kenny Hulshof's campaign.

Priorities of the Blunt/Kinder axis
Submitted by Anna Boone on Sat, 05/31/2008 - 8:21am.The Blunt/Kinder axis decided to use The Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority (MOHELA) as a political tool rather than allow the organization to serve the public interest by opening the doors of higher education. Now, MOHELA will have to cut several critical student benefit programs. The damage to MOHELA was not even the result of a tax cut or spending cut but the result of gross mismanagement of the program by the Blunt/Kinder axis. Higher Education in Missouri suffers for Story Continued »

A Look At Stanard and Turner’s Campaign
Submitted by Anna Boone on Mon, 03/10/2008 - 1:52pm.In the campaign for the board of Three Rivers Community College, as in most campaigns, the incumbent points at successes and tries to diminish the importance of his or her failures. For Stanard and Turner, success means the college has not yet had to shut down. Sure, things are worse than they’ve ever been. Nine superintendents, the head of a vocational technical program, Southeast Missouri Hospital, and Southeast Missouri State University do not want Three Rivers Community College Story Continued »

Hey Stanard! There is more to education than athletics.
Submitted by Anna Boone on Mon, 02/25/2008 - 3:18pm.John Stanard now appears to think promoting education means undermining athletics. Stanard's focused on the athletic program is reminiscent of Captain Ahab’s obsession with capturing Moby Dick. While pursuing the great white whale with a single minded focus Captain Ahab never saw how he was bringing down his own ship and all of those around him.

Questions for John Stanard
Submitted by Anna Boone on Sun, 02/17/2008 - 4:55pm.John Stanard, an incumbent, is running for reelection to the Three Rivers Community College Board of Trustees. In the past few years the college has been rocked with several scandals. Stanard says he wants to "put education first" but cannot answer a few simple questions about how he is putting education first, other than giving the College an education in corruption and cronyism.
How is Stanard’s release of private information from employee personnel files putting education first?

The REAL reasons Kinder dropped out of the governor's race.
Submitted by Anna Boone on Sun, 02/10/2008 - 10:34am.I found the following top ten reasons Kinder dropped out of the race for governor on the internet.
I'd like to add that Jay Nixon was going to clean Kinder's clock anyway in the general election.
One thing for sure is that Peter Kinder is not his own person and does the bidding of others.
We need a governor who can think for himself and make his own decisions.
