Blunt And Fletcher: Two GOP Peas In A Corruption Pod

Governor Ernie Fletcher (R-Ky.) is something of a role model for Governor Blunt. In fact, last month, the two sat together on Millionaire's Row at the Kentucky Derby.

Both have terrible poll numbers. Both have been embroiled in ethics scandals and have seen staffers come under scrutiny for misdeeds while acting on their bosses behalf. And both are terribly thin-skinned.

In fact, they are so thin-skinned, that as they sat there at the Derby schmoozing GOP donors, they must have compared plans to attack their critics.

As Fired Up! readers know, Governor Blunt's team has misused
the power of his office to prevent me from attending public events in
his office. And Blunt's staffer went so far as to compare me to a
terrorist simply because I dared to disagree with the Governor
politically, a comparison that the Governor lacked the character to disavow, and instead just shrugged off.

And displaying a Blunt-like abuse of power, Governor Fletcher issued an order to his tech people today to ban certain blogs from being read on state computers.

Who knows whether Blunt will follow in Fletcher's footsteps in that regard. Although, that seems unlikely, given that Blunt and his staff are such avid Fired Up! readers.

But in any case, Blunt should be careful in how far he goes to emulate Fletcher, because the Governor of the Bluegrass State has already managed to get himself indicted.

I say again tiny tim blunt wouldn't make a pimple on Bond's ass!!!!!!!!  The Senate is corrupt enough without putting midget blunt in the mix!!!

Building Building Building

Little Boy Blunt is attempting to build coalitions for his run for the Senate when Bond retires next time around....

Blunt to replace Bond

I hope this does come to pass.  Baby Boy Blunt would get beat so bad, maybe he would give up his corrupt political life and take up basket weaving or crotcheting,or  model for bobble-head dolls, surely he can find something he can do.  Every public appearance this boy makes is an embarrassement to the citizens of Missouri.  No doubt the Repugs would like to keep him hid and out of public view, but they don't quite know how to go about it.  We voters can give them a starting place.
