Cynthia Davis to Announce; Compares Her Campaign to the Civil War
Submitted by Ryan on September 29, 2011 - 10:34amIt looks like Cynthia Davis is going to announce her bid for an undisclosed statewide office this weekend.

She holding press conferences in St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield. She also compares her campaign to the civil war. I wonder if she remembers how it ultimately turned out for the rebels in that skirmish.
Davis said she picked her three locations because she "believes that just as it was during the battle of the Civil War, the state and nation again faces a great turning point in our history. It is time for Missouri to rise to the challenges we face and to make our voices heard throughout this nation."
Try to Listen to Cynthia Davis Speak for Over 30 Minutes
Submitted by Ryan on September 20, 2011 - 12:40pmIf you ever wanted to know about Cynthia's entire career and general philosophy on life and governance, you are in luck.
For instance, I bet you didn't know God made it snow so much last session because Cynthia Davis is no longer in the legislature.
“And you wondered, why did we have a snowstorm every Monday and Thursday last winter? And God did that for me, so I wouldn’t feel bad about not having to drive in the snow to Jefferson City and home.”
Cynthia Davis Promises Statewide Campaign in New Self-Described Manifesto
Submitted by Ryan on September 7, 2011 - 12:35pmCynthia Davis has penned a Manifesto detailing her reasons for leaving the Republican Party. She also gives details about her statewide campaign for office as a Constitution Party Candidate. Let the crazy continue...

In October I will be announcing my decision to seek a statewide office on the Constitution Party ticket. Some are asking, “Why the Constitution Party?” As we are watching our country head in the wrong direction, more people are looking for a party that is governed by principles, holds its candidates accountable and upholds a philosophy based upon a proper understanding of government. That is the very definition of the Constitution Party.
It is time to exercise our rights as Americans and join in the effort to alter the political landscape in a meaningful way. It is time to improve the state we’re in.
I therefore tender my resignation as St. Charles County Republican Party Township Committeewoman, not with any malice, but simply because the party has lost its capability to respond to the crisis we face in our state and nation.

Submitted by Captain Spaulding on August 17, 2011 - 11:29amIt’s so good to have Cynthia back in the body politic. To have both Cynthia and Peter to enliven this dreary blog is, indeed, manna from the gods. Unlike the Lite Guv, Cynthia would never do anything salacious—stupid, yes; salacious, never. While Peter’s flaws are those of the heart; Cynthia’s are those of the head.
While Peter has cast his lot with the cheeky Pantless Party; Cynthia has chosen the crustier Constitution Party. But just what is the U.S. Constitution Party (UCP)? I googled it up and found that it’s an offshoot of the U.S. Taxpayers Party, a group that has its roots in the American Independent Party founded by white supremacist George Wallace for his 1986 presidential campaign.
In what sounds more like a church creed than a political party preamble, the revamped UCP “gratefully acknowledges the blessing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Creator, Preserver and Ruler of the Universe and of these United States.” Yet, they have no religious test as a qualification for holding office. Go figure.
Here’s a brief listing of the UCP’s other tenets.
1. They are 100% opposed to abortion, without exceptions.
2. They want a moratorium on legal immigration, no extension of amnesty, and no citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants.
3. They believe that federal income, payroll and estate taxes violate the 16th Amendment, because the proposal was not ratified correctly.
4. They also oppose the 17th Amendment, which requires the direct (popular) election of U.S. Senators.

Keith Olbermann Still Holding That Whole "Hunger is a Positive Motivator" Thing Against Cynthia Davis
Submitted by Ryan on July 13, 2011 - 9:49pmCythia Davis has Fired Up Missouri! to thank for catapulting her to national stardom (or embarassment depending on your viewpoint).
But wait...don't think Keith Olbermann has forgotten about her. After it was revealed that even Republicans in her own County can't stand her, she makes a return appearance to Countdown's "Worst Persons in the World" list:

Submitted by Ryan on July 12, 2011 - 3:32pmMark Schlinkmann from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has the scoop on former State Rep. Cythia Davis calling it quits as St Charles County Republican Chair:

Davis said Tuesday she has a new job as executive director of the Center for Marriage Policy, which she said was a public advocacy group for marriage. She also plans to step up her public speaking appearances and is considering running for office again next year.
"Being honest with myself, I had to conclude that my true passion is to shape public policy rather than spending a large amount of time managing committee affairs," said Davis, who became chairwoman almost a year ago.
Also, it seems some of the other members of the committe weren't so thrilled with Davis' attention seeking ways anyway:
(Committee Member) Brazil said there was "major dissension" on the committee because of some of Davis' actions.
"She's a narcissist," said Brazil, of Defiance. "Everything's about her. The whole thing was set to help her, not the Republican Party itself."
To top it all off, Davis leaves the door open for yet another run for office. Because losing an ambulance district race is a perfect precusor to a Congressional race or state Senate campaign.
A Match Made In Heaven

Rumor is that Ed Martin has nabbed the support of former state representative Cynthia Davis in the 2nd Congressional contest.
SCANDAL: White House Releases Fraudulent Long-Form Birth Certificate Long After Speker Jones and Orly Taitz Unveiled Real One
Submitted by .Sean on April 27, 2011 - 7:28amThe White House has decided in April 2011 to release our Muslim Socialist Usurper's long form birth certificate on the interwebs, on the apparent belief that birther whackadoos will somehow be satisfied with a picture of said document posted on the interwebs by Muslim Socialist Usurper's loyal Nazi Snitches. Here it is:

As you can see, this is an obvious fraud. Tim Jones, Cynthia Davis, Orly Taitz and co-plaintiffs from around the country filed the *real* birth certificate for Barry Soetoro in federal court in 2009. Actually, they filed two competing Kenyan birth certificates, one of which just has to be real.

Submitted by .Sean on February 7, 2011 - 11:26amOn the apparently-not-very-secure-in-some-portions-of-the-Capitol Facebook social networking site, Sen. Brian Nieves (R-Washington) warns that the 2011 legislative session "may get ugly." Specifically, "My self, Sen. Lembke & a few other Constitutional Conservatives in the Senate will be KILLING some Bad bills this year ... It may get ugly so Stand With Us!!" [Capitalization, punctuation and spelling in the original.]
To which Sen. Jason Crowell (R-Cape Girardeau) responds, "i'm in...lets start with the budget..."
Note also former Rep. Cynthia Davis' promise to seek a state Senate seat in 2014, when Scott Rupp's (R-Wentzville) current term expires.

Submitted by .Sean on January 11, 2011 - 8:49am
Now that she's out of the General Assembly and chairing the St. Charles County Republican Committee, Cynthia Davis (R-O'Fallon) has turned her attention to problems you didn't even know existed. Today, she's upset about the Violence Against Women Act because, she says, it's "anti-marriage" legislation (this is not a joke). Writing for RenewAmerica:
Read More »The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is an example of government erroneously treating a consequence rather than impacting the source of the problem. Domestic violence is usually a symptom of a much larger problem brought on by drug and alcohol abuse. Due to the emotional nature of this issue, we missed the root cause of the problem.
Surprisingly, was pushed through a Republican-dominated Congress in 1994, despite the fact it was exclusively promulgated by radical feminist Progressives. Republican leadership merely rubber-stamped legislation by Democrat Senator Paul Wellstone (a former Alinsky community organizer), and then-Senator Joe Biden (a National Organization for Women operative).
Peace Out: Cynthia Davis Complains About "Left Wing Bloggers" In Farewell Column
Submitted by .Sean on December 30, 2010 - 3:38pm
In her final newsletter as a State Representative, Rep. Cynthia Davis complains about "left wing bloggers" she believes are out "to shame and humiliate those who speak up for common sense America." Davis' list of evil librul bloggers presumably includes writers for Fired Up!, Show Me Progress, the Pitch, Riverfront Times, and the Turner Report, among others. No apologies here for reporting the things she said and did, and for calling out the allegedly reasonable leaders who put her in positions of leadership.
Here's an excerpt from Davis' column, as posted by Randy Turner:
Read More »As I walk out of the Capitol for the last time I know that my priorities have never changed---honoring God and honoring my constituents.
This came at a tremendous personal cost, but it was worth what I paid for it many times over. I value my integrity, and I have the satisfaction of knowing I get to take my integrity with me when I leave. Not everybody can say that.
The price tag? It meant national attention -far more than most of my colleagues- even those in leadership positions. Those who live in my district may not realize that people in Kansas City, Springfield, Joplin, Columbia, New York, California and those who watch MSNBC and Steven Colbert may know more about me than you do. I became the target of several left wing blogs and frequently segments of my Capitol Reports would be quoted within hours of being e-mailed. People in other states would write me who read about what I am saying and accomplishing in Missouri.
The goal of the left wing bloggers is to shame and humiliate those who speak up for common sense America. It is possible that they are so surrounded by socialists that it shocks them to hear someone explain free-market ideology. More likely, they think making a martyr out of an honest mother of seven, grass-roots supported American will intimidate others from daring to state the obvious out of fear of the backlash. It may have worked were it not for the fact that I am defined by my Maker, not what the left-wing blogs say.
