Submitted by .Sean on October 28, 2011 - 3:46pmFirst, there's this Associated Press story: "Mitt Romney may need a censor. For himself... Over the past year, the Republican presidential candidate has amassed a collection of off-the-cuff comments that expose his vulnerabilities and, taken together, cast him as out-of-touch with Americans who face staggering unemployment, widespread foreclosures and a dire outlook on the economy."
And then there's this ad from GOP opponent Jon Hunstman:

Sinquefield: "Significant Advertising Campaign" for State Bankrupting Crusade to Begin Soon
Submitted by .Sean on September 12, 2011 - 11:14am
In today's Jerry Berger post from St. Louis Magazine:
In his family suite [Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome], Rex Sinquefield with his wife, Jeanne, discussed his crusade to let voters decide whether to replace Missouri individual and corporate income taxes with higher sales taxes. "In a few weeks, we'll begin running a significant advertising campaign in southwest Missouri," he said.
How much do you think Rex will have to spend to get public support for extreme proposals to devastate Missouri's state budget and economy to a level at which it won't shorten the careers of the politicians on his payroll?

The Ad Fox Doesn't Want You To See
Submitted by .Sean on November 23, 2010 - 2:05pmThis ad from the Palm Center calling for the repeal of the federal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy is apparently too much for Fox News' delicate audience to handle.
What if the commercial just read from a new CNN poll showing that 72% of Americans think people should be able to serve openly? Would that also get turned down by the freedom lovers at Fox?
