Jeff Wisdom
Did Nodler try to throw Jeff Wisdom under the bus?
Submitted by Just My Opinion on May 12, 2010 - 6:41pmLets be real, Jeff Wisdom, who is Republican Candidate for Congress in the 7th CD supports torture and is unacceptable, no if ands or buts. But when Gary Nodler and the criminals in GOP/Newton County bar Wisdom from speaking because he is on active duty in the Gulf, is the reason why we must court the military vote better!
Newton Co. is in Gary's territory, and based on Wisdoms press release, they have refused to let him speak at a forum because he is absent. Freedom of speech is imperitive for the future of our Country! Will someone tell Wisdom that he has been lead down the Primrose Path and reach out to him? Gary Nodler is behind this, and needs to be exposed MORE for the POS that he is.
( My since passed Vet father would SH$t bricks if he were still around...)
Wait for Gary to run for cover on this ..... just like BP....
Long Continues To Separate Himself From Blunt
Submitted by .Sean on January 26, 2010 - 8:23amBilly Long, the Republican auctioneer trying to replace Roy Blunt in Congress, has signed the Citizens Against Government Waste's pledge to oppose "irresponsible, corrupt" earmark spending.
Fellow CD7 candidate Sen. Jack Goodman signed the same pledge in October, and has described the earmarking practice celebrated by Blunt and Sen. Kit Bond as "awful." Candidates Darrell Moore and Jeff Wisdom have made similar promises.
Blunt Assessment: "Part of the problem in Washington D.C."
Submitted by Blunt Ed on April 23, 2009 - 2:38pmOn his very first day in the race to take Roy Blunt's seat, fellow Republican Jeff Wisdom is desperate to distinguish himself from the Blunt legacy...
I believe Roy Blunt went to Washington D.C. and became part of the problem in Washington D.C. I think that he became beholden to a lot of special interests and I don't intend for that to happen...I just believe Roy Blunt became part of the establishment, and I don't want to be part of the establishment.
...leading to a larger question: Is anyone saying nice things about Roy Blunt these days who isn't named Rich Chrismer?
Jeff Wisdom supports torture
Submitted by .Sean on April 23, 2009 - 5:57amHow do you distinguish yourself in a crowded field of very conservative candidates? Support torture earlier and louder than everyone else:
Jeff Wisdom doesn't think waterboarding is torture. But does believe "very good information" came from waterboarding, facts be damned.
That said, he doesn't support torture, "per se."
The full interview with KY3's David Catanese is here.
Wisdom is one of several conservative candidates in the race to replace Roy Blunt in Congress.
