Great opportunity: Mike Lux book signing in StL on Friday
Friday night, author Mike Lux will be in St. Louis to talk about his new book, The Progressive Revolution, and celebration the Grand Opening of Left Bank Books' downtown location.
In the book, Lux doesn’t shy away from recounting the errors of Democrats and other progressives while citing the lessons of history. However, he maps how progressives have been instrumental in creating “Big Change Moments” and argues that as the Obama Administration begins its service, the time is ripe for a dramatic, new “Big Change Moment.” The book outlines how progressive policies may be channeled to solve the big problems facing America today.
Mike Lux has worked in Democratic politics for over two decades, including service in the Clinton White House and on the Obama transition team. Currently, Lux is working as President of Progressive Strategies, a progressive political consulting firm, which he co-founded. He is also, along with Matt Stoller and Chris Bowers, a co-founder of the influential progressive blog OpenLeft.com.
