NEA: Tell the Senate to Support Educator Jobs

The National Education Association today launched a new ad urging Congress to pass The Teachers and First Responders Back to Work Act. If passed, the proposal will help put first responders, teachers and support staff back to work. As currently drafted, the legislation provides $35 billion to create or protect nearly 400,000 education jobs, while preventing the layoffs of thousands of cops and firefighters.
