Greater Kansas City Democracy for America

Our meetings average 20 to 30 attendees, with some meetings as high as 60 to 70. Our last meeting was a little low because it was only six days before a midterm election. But we are hoping that you will help us make the December meeting a success. In stead of our usual practice of having a speaker, OUR FEATURED GUEST THIS MONTH WILL BE YOU.

First, join us in a brainstorming session. Now that the midterms are over, the leadership wants you to tell us what issues you are interested in supporting, and suggest courses of action for some of those issues. Second, you will hear about upcoming elections for chapter officers. Finally, for KCMO residents, you will hear about the kickoff meeting for our endorsement process for the mayor and city council races.

As always, our meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at Californos 4124 Pennsylvania in Westport at 7:00 pm.

GKCDFA continues to be dedicated to its mission of electing fiscally responsible, socially progressive candidates to all levels of office. GKCDFA started in 2003 as part of "Dean for America," the largest grassroots presidential campaign ever. As we begin our fourth year, GKCDFA is grassroots all grown up. We give citizens the opportunity to get involved in the political process and we look forward to your participation.

We look forward to seeing you December 6th.
