Blunt already calling for compromise.

Blunt apparently told the Joplin Globe he has two goals. The first is to get elected November 2.  The second goal is to open the doors of compromise on November 3. The Globe noted Blunt’s willingness to compromise with the Democratic Party more than most Republicans.  The Tea Partiers electing him must be proud Blunt is already calling for compromise with President Obama and the Democratic Members of Congress. 

Blunt also claimed to have solutions to pressing issues such as a lack of jobs. Too bad he didn’t let us in on these solutions when he was in the leadership of the House of Representatives. 

When you do not have any principles it is easy to compromise. The Globe’s reference to Blunt’s experience is a reference to Blunt’s experience as a Washington insider. I thought Washington insiders were something the Tea Partiers opposed. 

So, the GOP in Missouri is promoting a Washington insider who can’t wait to begin compromising with our President and the Democratic members of Congress. I guess the Missouri GOP realizes, in the long run, our President and the Democratic Congress are, for the most part, taking our Nation down the correct path.
