It's not every day that a Congressman asks citizens to stay out of Congress' business.
Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) has suggested that organizing grassroots support is not the way to cultivate a debate in Congress, with Republicans warning that everything that the Democrats are talking about amounts to more government control and taxes.
Maybe Blunt is worried that if more citizens are engaged in the debate, very few people will voice support for the long-running Republican strategy of not addressing key health care issues? Or maybe he's concerned more people will call up and ask why his Health Care Solutions Working Group has been a failure?
