Cynthia Davis Concerned About Too Much Bipartisanship in State Senate
Another fascinating tidbit from Jo Mannies' story about the Scott Rupp v. Cynthia Davis matchup in the second senate district:
But Davis adds that she's also concerned by what she views as too much camaraderie in the Senate between Republicans and Democrats. "The Senate has become a big fraternity club," she said, where members' "loyalty to each other" outweighs their partisan differences.
"You can't tell who's a Republican or Democrat," Davis complained. If she wins, she said, that will change.
More gridlock and petty partisanship, please.

There's no business like
There's no business like snow business so get da plows cause Cynthia's a' comin'.
She May Have Something
Compromise is unavoidable in politics but a lot of these guys are just selling-out. I'd much rather see the General Assembly gridlocked than passing some of things they pass.
Et tu, Cynthia?
Sounds like Cynthia prefers "back stabbing" to "back slapping." No more garden parties in the Senate, if she joins their ranks.
To be on the safe side, maybe Senators should carry guns and knives. That way, if there is a disagreement, you can shoot the offender in the foot or, at least, put a dent in his epidermis.
It worked in Rome.
