The St. Louis Post doesn't find Cynthia Davis being the butt political jokes newsworthy. This is part of the reason Ms. Davis keeps getting re-elected. The people in the 19th district have no idea what she stands for. She always runs uncontested in the primary, and the locals just vote for the party and not the person.
The Post-Dispatch's editorial a couple of weeks ago about Davis was a key step in making this a national story. Their damning editorial got the attention of a few national blogs, which got the notice of Olbermann.
I think Jake Wagman also flagged at least one of the Olbermann videos on the Political Fix.
That is very true and I do give them a lot of credit for that, but the St. Charles edition of the post does very little to cover Ms. Davis or the rest of the state politians from St. Charles County, and this is where many in the County get their information.

hunger could motivate her to get her hair done. Cheap sorry!
Seriously, I know she is a Christian!! Doesn't she realize that the "alleged" Jesus as portrayed in the Bible was a communist revolutionary pacifist who promoted healthcare, child care, feeding the poor and selfless altruism.

In the Davis Dimension there is a change in the American Spirit. It starts with the now infamous and world-renown quote of Cynthia Davis: "Hunger is a positive motivator"--a plaque that hangs in her Christian Book Store window, no doubt. Here's how other familiar quotations would change in the Davis Dimension.
Republican Jesus: "Suffer little children to come unto me--and I mean suffer."
Martha Steward: "Hunger--that's a good thing."
Jerry Maguire: "Show me the hungry children!"
Bible: "I was hungry and you fed me said 'Get a job.'" (Colbert Revised Version)
Charles Dickens: "Please, sir, I have finished the scrubbing; may I have another bowl."
GOP Motto: "Fetuses first; hunger second; health care--haw haw, hearty har har!"
Perhaps they can start by asking the lobbyist to stop feeding these loons. Maybe then they can actually start doing some work that actually helps the children and families in MO.

It is really kind of sad.
To their credit...

You are correct

That's a fair point
Cynthia embarrasses herself on a regular basis.
Maybe just maybe
hunger could motivate her to get her hair done. Cheap sorry!

But wait...
I thought Rep. Mike McGhee said she was a nice person and we shouldn't pay attention to what she says or does?
Deny him as well
