Do GOP Leaders Support Tea Partiers' Calls to "Do Away" With Social Security?

Appearing on on Larry King's show last night, St. Louis Tea Party activist Dana Loesch said she would "absolutely" support the end of Social Security benefits.

Loesch can say whatever she wants on the teevee and radio without any real consequences, but the Republican leaders who court her support have to actually explain their positions to voters.

Peter Kinder has previously expressed public support for a federal budget proposal from Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) that would make dramatic cuts to programs like Medicare and Social Security. Since that endorsement, Kinder has shamelessly courted the support of Loesch and her radio audience.

Ed Martin has also promoted Loesch and her radio program, and is a leader with Loesch in the St. Louis tea party scene.

Roy Blunt's campaign also says he's "listening to them [tea party activists] and paying attention to their concerns."

Are these leaders paying attention to Loesch's calls for the end of Social Security?  Do they support her position?  If not, do they have the courage to explain why they think she's wrong?
