Emerson Asks Sowers To Talk About Veterans Issues Only On Days She Approves In Advance

Politician Rep. Jo Ann Emerson is aghast that Tommy Sowers would talk about military and veterans issues on the same day Barack Obama gave speeches about Iraq. (Oh noes!) She's so disgusted, in fact, that she published the following political statement last night on Facebook:

I'm assuming that she's talking about Sowers here -- though there may be some other politician she's not allowed to mention by name who did "truly unfortunate" things yesterday.  But either way, what was it about yesterday's speech that should make people ashamed for talking about issues pertaining to Iraq or veterans?  And why does she exempt herself from her own arbitrary rule?

Assuming that this is the whiny shot at Sowers it appears to be, what is it that offends her so?  Jobs for veterans when they return home?  Talking about wasteful contracting in Iraq?
