In face of overwhelming irony, Kinder abandons fiscal accountability slogan

Part-time Lt. Governor Peter Kinder has long peddled a fiscal accountability slogan to voters--- "every dollar counts."
But now, in the face of an overwhelming irony that prevents a straight-faced recital, Kinder has abandoned the slogan altogether. As his website emerges from bankruptcy protection, Kinder has stripped the slogan from his logo.
He apparently couldn't reconcile the slogan with his record of wasting taxpayer money. Consider this growing list of fiscal abuses by Kinder:
- Paying off the red-ink from his novelty, French-style bike race with state job creations funds
- Buying the Chiefs, Wizards and Cardinals new sports facilities with taxpayer money
- Using state funds to hire a Washington lobbyists
- Building an opera house with taxpayer money
- Buying covered parking for tobacco lawyers with taxpayer dollars
- Sending his taxpayer funded staff to California for a bike race
