Hartzler Just One of Many Anti-Government Hypocrites

This isn't news to most Fired Up! readers, but a a national AP story this weekend picks up on the hypocrisy of candidates like Vicky Hartzler who have collected hefty farm subsidies in their personal lives while decrying federal spending in their public rhetoric.  Hartzler's farm has collected three quarters of a million dollars in the past 15 years, but she says that's mostly okay because she's actually been in the "national security" business. 

Minnesota's Michele Bachmann is a similar offender, as is incoming South Dakota Representative Kristi Noem.

It shall be interesting to see how Hartzler handles the issue as the Farm Bill is written and debated in the 112th Congress.
