Kinder Joins In Protest Of "Small Minds In Congress" And "Liberal Media Atrocities"
You may have missed it without all of the Fox News hype and promotion, but there were a series of tea party-like protests this weekend called "Operation Can You Hear Us Now?" The protests were organized anonymously to "protest big government, small minds in Congress, and liberal media atrocities in reporting (or non-reporting)."
Interestingly, Peter Kinder was at the St. Louis protest in front of the KSDK offices.
From the official OCYHUN website (their acronym, not mine), it was clear what the events were all about (emphasis in original):
Let’s stay on message and NOT give the media any ammo against us.
The message is COMPLICIT MEDIA and MEDIA BIAS.
So please stay away from the following messages:
No Anti-Obama, Anti-Pelosi, Anti-Reid, etc messages
No Obamacare / Healthcare messages
No "Liar" related
No name calling (e.g. dumb, stupid, racial epithet, etc.)
No Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh for President[...]
Here are some sign ideas:

Ironically, Fox News didn't air any live coverage of the event, despite their devotion of enormous resources to previous tea party protests.
Could this event have been too dumb for Fox News, but not too dumb for Peter Kinder?
Kinder no doubt avoided a substantive discussion of his record as a Senator and Lieutenant Governor, but maybe the Lieutenant Governor can clue us in on which "liberal media atrocities" at KSDK and other "complicit media" he finds so offensive?
If Kinder wants to pander to the extreme right at these protests, it's not too much to ask that he explain why he's standing in solidarity with them. (After all, all of the reporters reading this blog are part of the "state run media" anyway.)
