Kinder Pours Cold Tea on Martin's Sad Attempts to Create Uncertainty About CD3 Results
Peter Kinder isn't buying Ed Martin's lame attempts to allege "irregularities" with yesterday's vote in the Third District. Speaking moments ago with FM NewsTalk 97.1 radio personality Dana Loesch:
When you're 4,400 votes down it's pretty hard, okay, to mount a legal challenge. And I don't expect that one will get very far. I understand the frustration. I understand the suspicions. But we have a Republican Director of Elections in St. Louis City named Scott Leiendecker. Ed Martin and I both talked to Scott today, and he says there -- while he understands the reasons for some suspicion, he personally had his hands on the whole thing and there's no reason for us to disbelieve the numbers.
It's unclear If Kinder and Martin were a part of the same conversation with Leiendecker, but if so, it's worth noting that Martin has continued to push his conspiracy theories after the meeting. At 2:36 p.m., just moments before Kinder went on the radio, Martin's campaign called for an "investigation" of the yesterday's results.
