Kit Bond suggested last night on the Senate Floor and again this morning on Fox News Sunday that the Senate Health Care bill is like Bernie Madoff's criminal ponzi scheme. Does it make any sense? Of course not. But it sounds scary, and that's the point.
Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Sen. Kit Bond (R-Mo.) called the $848 billion healthcare reform package "something Bernie Madoff would really envy," saying that savings would not be realized as touted.
Also, the government can't do anything, because people are confused about the mammogram and pap test recommendations. And if anyone would know how the government will kill you, it's Kit Bond, a man who got his first government job in 1969.
