Kraske: Fox Lawsuit A "Mystery"

I think the Star's Steve Kraske is off base is his assessment of the DSCC's latest ad in the MO Senate race (see below), but I share his confusion of the lawsuit filed by Fox News this week:

Mystery #3: What’s up with the Fox News lawsuit against Robin Carnahan?

Fox may not have a winning argument in its assertion that the “Fox News Sunday” footage that Carnahan’s camp used in a new ad violates copyright law. Fox said the effect of the spot is to depict the network’s Chris Wallace as endorsing Carnahan.

That’s silly. What’s even sillier is that all the news coverage of the lawsuit resulted in even more exposure to a hard-hitting, anti-Blunt ad.

For a network that tilts right, you wonder about its logic. It’s another mystery, all right.
