MOGOP Should Propose Changes, Or Give Up The Fee Office Hysteria

The MOGOP is still trying to make hay with fee office awards that happen to go to Democratic supporters. It's an easy argument for the Party to make, provided that they ignore the fact that the law outlining the bidding process was sponsored by State Rep. Ryan Silvey (R-Kansas City) and supported with large Republican majorities. They're also required to pretend there aren't public bids submitted by prospective vendors, and ignore the many Matt Blunt appointees who are keeping their offices.

So if the MOGOP wants to say the system outlined by Silvey and passed with huge majorities in their legislature is a terrible system, fine.  Or if they'd like to take issue with the way bids were scored after reviewing the submissions, fine.  Or if they think it's best to prohibit bidding by any person who's ever made a political contribution to a candidate or party, fine. But until then, spare us.
