Ever the political mastermind, Peter Kinder has come out as a strong supporter of the unpopular Republican plan to transform Medicare into an unrecognizable voucher program that will make it even more difficult for seniors to make ends meet. 

Friday afternoon, #PDK recommended a column by Betsy McCaughey -- one of the least credible "experts" in the ring wing echo chamber -- in which she tries to convince her readers that Paul Ryan's Medicare Elimination Plan actually saves Medicare from Obama's "raid."

According to James Fallows, McCaughey "has brought more misinformation, more often, more destructively into America's consideration of health-policy issues than any other individual."

Her statements about end of life care under the Medicare bill were rated "pants on fire" by PolitiFact, and her appearance on Jon Stewart was even more embarrassing.
