Neither Truth Nor Consequences

Despite his unrepentant participation in a federal lawsuit alleging that Barack Obama is a fraudulent President, his stated belief that Obama is actually an illegal alien, his involvement with a legal team that is simultaneously pushing two fraudulent Kenyan birth certificates in his lawsuit, his lawyer/dentist/realtor who may be fined $10,000 in the very near future for accusing a federal judge of treason, and his stated belief that he's a member of a "a discrete and insular minority" because of his birther beliefs, Representative Tim Jones is still supported by the Missouri GOP establishment.

In fact, Jones received a check for $40,000 from Rex Sinquefield on September 9.

Amazingly, the check arrived one day after Orly Taitz and fellow Rep. Cynthia Davis appeared in federal court for a hearing in their case, and just a few days after the Department of Justice asked for Jones' case to be dismissed, accusing him and his fellow plaintiffs of "trafficking in 'innuendo' and advancing 'a variety of vaguely-defined claims purportedly related to a hodgepodge of constitutional provisions, civil and criminal statutes, and the Freedom of Information Act.'"
