The Real BS
Jason Noble has the amusing and frustrating story over at the Prime Buzz of Rep. Chuck Gatschenberger (R-Lake St. Louis) using big boy words in a recent constituent newsletter about federal health care reform legislation. Here's an excerpt, as posted by Noble:
While a state legislator's decision to use profanity in official communications is worth noting, the far more offensive behavior is Gatschenberger's dishonest use of outdated estimates about the impact of expanding Medicaid in the health care reform bills before Congress. These exaggerated Republican estimates have been repeatedly debunked -- in the Associated Press, in the News-Leader, in The Beacon, and in this space (though I'm not sure if Chuck's a regular reader).
There's no excuse for this BS anymore.
