A musing about how slippery Peter Kinder shifts with the political winds; however, manages to represent nobody but himself and a few political buddies.
Remember when Kinder
Said that he
Was a new kind of member
Of the G-O-P ?
From a conservative label
He wanted to be free
Said that he

Supporters did display
Along with another picture
Of Mister Lacy Clay
When referred to as Obama
Kinder liked it that way
Now through the poll numbers
Kinder starts to sift
And sees the makings
Of a political rift
So quickly Slippery Peter
Decides to make a shift
He morphs into a right-winger
More than Reagan ever was
Right-wing in all his thoughts
And everything he does
Going on the radio
To create pro-Kinder buzz
However, I predict
In 2012 he will see defeat
Should he run to occupy
The Missouri Governor’s seat
Then at last we can be free
