As State Revenues Shrink, Tourism Staff Second Guessing TOM Funding

"Never put all your eggs in one basket."

According to on-the-ground reports, that's the admonition echoing among the prison industry cubicles at the Missouri Tourism Commission.

Last month, the Commission gave the Tour of Missouri "sacred cow" funding status. That at the insistence of conflict oblivious Tour of Missouri and Missouri Tourism Commission Chair Peter "Every Dollar Counts" Kinder.

Now, as state revenues contract and the Commission is put on a drip IV budget, many there are second guessing putting all their available revenue in the Kinder pedal.
