MoDOT has obligated more than half of its federal recovery dollars, and expects the new projects to directly and indirectly support 4,970 jobs.
- Jay Nixon made stops in Springfield and Kansas City to promote his “Caring for Missourians" program, which will increase health education opportunities.
- George W. Bush is still pre-screening questions at speaking events.
- Nixon asked for more federal help to repair infrastructure damage in 46 counties hit by severe storms earlier this month.
