Did you know that the Senate Republicans, Associated Industries of Missouri, Chambers of Commerce and Missouri Hospital Association want to:
- breed more miseries,
- deprave the population,
- reduce the rich to being no more than the tenant-farmers of the poor,
- dry up the sources of savings,
- stop the accumulation of capital,
- retard the development of trade,
- benumb human industry and activity, and
- bring about a violent revolution in the State?
It's true! A great prophet said so almost 200 years ago. Esteemed historian and philosopher Tim Jones explains:
Those darned business groups and Senate Republicans. They just hate businesses.
