Tonight I can wear some fun sequins and celebrate Devin, I mean Dr. Stephenson, being with us at Three Rivers Community College for a few more years.  The two or three readers of my diary have asked why I don’t comment more on Three Rivers Community College.  There is a lot to say and a lot that I would like to say about it but I think that sometimes I should keep silent.  Other people need to comment and talk about what is happening at the college.  I will say that I am glad that I do not have to bring my own hand soap with me.

Maybe in the future I will start writing about the college and what is happening with Devin, I mean Dr. Stephenson in charge.  There are positive and negative changes.  A big negative change not related to any college policy was the loss of James Grassham.  Can anyone imagine James Grassham abstaining from a major vote?  Would the board so easily roll over if James Grassham were here? 

While thinking about sequins and knowing that all that glisters is not gold I know that I can dress up on the outside.  I also know that cosmetic changes on the outside do not mean that real change has occurred.  I hope that the external changes at Three Rivers Community College will result in changes for the better that are more than on the surface.
