Missouri legislative Republicans are at it again, wasting time pushing a nonsensical solution to a problem that doesn't exist. They are trying to pass a law requiring driver's license tests be conducted only in English.
Never mind no evidence exists of a problem. Promoters want a "solution" anyhow. The foolishness of this effort was apparent when its co-sponsor, Rep. Chuck Gatschenberger, said what "scares" him most is "in England their on ramp is our off ramp." He worries people with poor English skills might not be able to read our "wrong way" signs. (I now provide a few seconds for readers to scratch their heads.)
