Al Franken is finally going to be a U.S. Senator.
Lt. Governor Peter Kinder now opposes a bonding issue to finance new capital projects. House Speaker Ron Richard quickly joined Kinder in bashing the bond plan after months of supporting the idea.
St. Louis City continues to consider a smoking ban contingent on St. Louis County passing one as well.
