Turd Blossom Raising Money For Blunt

Politico's Dave Catanese: "Former presidential adviser Karl Rove will hold a fundraiser for Missouri Senate candidate Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) on Monday in a final push before the second quarter fundraising deadline. Rove is slated to host two events for the seven-term congressman: a breakfast in St. Charles and a luncheon in Springfield, the Blunt campaign confirmed to POLITICO...Rove was an early backer of Blunt, endorsing him in a December Wall Street Journal column where he lauded the GOP’s 'stellar' class of 2010 Senate candidates."

While Rove was an early backer of Blunt's Senate bid, longtime readers may recall that Blunt was an early supporter of George W. Bush's first presidential bid, joining Rove on the campaign's "exploratory committee" in May 1999.
