Two State Reps Join Purgason In Taking On The GOP Establishment

CQ Politics reports that while State Sen. Chuck Purgason didn't raise a lot of dough in the third quarter, he did receive contributions from two sitting members of the Missouri House: Rep. Mike Dethrow (R-Alton) gave Purgason $500 and Majority Caucus Chair Ward Franz (R-West Plains) donated $300.

It's notable that Franz endorsed Roy Blunt's candidacy in May; his donation to Blunt's only announced primary challenger certainly seems to indicate he's not fully on board with the establishment's choice. 

Dethrow has steadfastly refused to endorse Blunt.
