John Boehner is very sad to learn about the last-minute change

Maybe Vicky Hartzler doesn't want to answer questions about how she isn't a top NRCC target as she claims?  Or why Republicans have a terrible record of saying obscenely complimentary things about Ike Skelton?  Or outline her plan for a more robust Missouri Navy?  Whatever it is, Hartzler and John Boehner are very, very busy tomorrow and don't have time to talk about it.

Republican House leader John Boehner will not meet with reporters during his Saturday fundraising swing for Mo-4 GOP Congressional candidate Vicky Hartzler. Boehner is the star at a Saturday Hartzler fundraiser in Jefferson City.

Hartzler spokesman Steve Walsh issued a statement today saying “Due to time constraints Saturday’s announced media availability with… Boehner has been cancelled.”

Walsh says the main event, Boehner’s fundraising appearance for the Hartzler campaign will proceed. But it will be closed to reporters.
