Even Overseas Smith-ophiles Ridicule Missouri's Adam Smith Crew

The Missouri Republicans in charge of the Adam Smith Foundation are drawing guffaws even across the pond.  United Kingdom-based blogger Gavin Kennedy of a site called "Adam Smith's Lost Legacy" submits that the folks behind the curtain at the foundation (James Harris and Jeff Roe) are probably insufficiently literate to understand Smith's writing:

If it was only grammar that the epigones got wrong, we would have less
to complain about, but they usually get Adam Smith's ideas completely
wrong too. No danger of that here, because if they are illiterate to
this extent, they are no danger to Smith's ideas because they probably
wouldn't understand them.

Congratulations to the Missouri's Adam Smith Foundation's sponsors, who are inspiring the ire even of those of folks who are really, really into Adam Smith.  Quite a feat.

Invisible Hand

Don't you think "The Invisible Hand" is a good metaphor for what they are trying to do in Missouri. Yet it is hard to hide much in this this net connected age.
