The Incredible Shrinking Governor Reduced to Debating Political Blogs via Press Release

In what can only be seen as a direct response to a post here at Fired Up Missouri this morning, the office of Governor Matt Blunt has decided to engage in public debate with bloggers by way of official press release.  How gubernatorial!

Worse, the release leads off with what may be least readable opening sentence ever to grace a press release:

Attorney General Jay Nixon is failing to represent Missouri by failing to support an effort to allow the people, not the courts to decide if marriage is between one man and one woman even after the California Secretary of State approved a ballot initiative to allow the people, not the courts to decide on the definition of marriage.
