Have you ever said those words?

If so, there are many people who feel just like you do . . . and it's time that we get together.

People talk to me all the time -- young people, retirees, potential candidates -- saying, "Please, tell me what I can do? We can't just sit back and give up. There's too much at stake."

I have no idea how many people feel that way. That's what we need to find out.

The response to this website will be an indicator of how many share these feelings and are willing to do the hard work of fighting back.

Think of Fired Up! as you would a local coffee shop--a place where we can exchange ideas, freely and respectfully. But it is also a launching pad for community action that grows out of our discussions and concerns.

We need your enthusiastic input for that to happen. So please join in the effort. Let's stay informed . . . build our strength . . . and begin the task of turning our state and nation around.

Will you do three things right now?

First, become a part of Fired Up! It's free. While we appreciate any financial support you can give, what we want most is for you to be among the 10,000 Missourians fired up and fighting back for what we believe.

Second, visit www.firedupmissouri.com regularly, study the issues, and be prepared to defend your ideals whenever you have the opportunity. Look for the ALERT calls and do what you can to respond.

Third, encourage your friends to visit the website and join the fight.

There is so much to be done.
