Messenger Talks About Eckersley Scandal with Charlie Brennan
I know, I know. All the Republican bloggers contend that the Scott Eckersley scandal isn't a story that anyone should be paying attention to and that Tony Messenger and FiredUp! Missouri are just pushing it to punish poor Governor Blunt.
Apparently, a story about the Governor breaking the law by destroying public records and firing an employee who pointed out the lawbreaking simply isn't "newsworthy."
While we wait for a truly newsworthy story to come along --maybe something about the Governor robbing a liquor store or barricading himself in the mansion with a huge cache of firearms (it's so hard to tell what'll be "newsworthy" in the eyes of the GOP these days...)-- we should listen to what Tony Messenger has to say about the story.
