Lots of Gubernatorial Law Breaking; Tony's Got More Tomorrow

Tony Messenger previews his special edition midweek column in his Ozarks Messenger blog:

This story is too important to wait for Sunday. Here's a tease: One of
Blunt's attorneys has written a letter that would indicate that another
of Blunt's attorneys is in violation of state statute.

Can't say I'm shocked.

So far we've witnessed Matt Blunt and Ed Martin breaking the law by refusing to produce emails that are a part of the public record; Matt Blunt and Ed Martin breaking the law by firing Scott Eckersley for his attempted compliance with the Sunshine Law; and now an attorney of Matt Blunt's breaking a heretofore undisclosed statute in the service of covering up all the previous lawbreaking.

I can hardly wait to hear the fanciful explanation proffered by the Governor's office for whatever it is that Messenger has turned up.  The smart money says Team Blunt will suggest that one of their attorneys violated state statute as part of an elaborate sting operation designed to catch Scott Eckersley, who they believed was an al qaeda sleeper

Just as plausible of the rest if the excuses they've come up with, frankly.

Happy Halloween, Governor!
