Crowdsourcing Some Answers on Mystery Event

At least one unsuspecting politico got the eyeball on some interesting events at a recent Jefferson City fundraiser and its cocktail party aftermath.  

Reports from multiple sources note what appeared to be a political fundraiser at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jeff City last week.  One tipster relayed that Gov. Matt Blunt made a drop-in at the event.  Not so unusual.  What was out of the ordinary was the additional fact that there were at least two young women dressed in Playboy bunny outfits also in attendance.

According to correspondents who were (believe me) watching closely, these young scantily clad women continued to, ahem, "raise funds" in the Capitol Plaza hotel lounge after the event ended.  The event reportedly culminated in a public display of affection between one of the bunnies and another individual on a settee in the Capitol Plaza bar. 

I would love to crowdsource some answers about these reports; does anyone have any information about what event this was, or who was responsible for it?  Leave any information in comments or on the anonymous tipline.

perhaps some members of the religious right purchased "the cure" for some of our republican leaders. whether they partook is an open question.

I thought the GOP was the party of the mature people who didn't like to have fun, or at least didn't want anybody else to have fun.

Is this all related to Kenny and his purchase of the big bull for $26,000?
