Disabled of Missouri Unite

It appears that regardless of personal bias or religious affiliation, the disabled and elderly of Missouri MUST band together against the insanely archane measures being taken in this State to reverse EVERY SINGLE MEASURE TAKENto insure equal treatment under the law for the elderly and disabled. We must not remain silent. As a concerned voter, who just happens to be disabled, I urge all the elderly and disabled to become actively involved. CALL YOUR LEGISLATORS! WRITE THEM! REMIND THEM THAT THEY WORK FOR YOU AND YOU VOTE! Garbage like SB539 cannot go unnoticed!

I have been going through the humiliating, dehumaninzing process they call Disability Benefit Approval Process. Even with multiple Doctors letters with explanation of Disability and multiple Diagnosis, I remain awaiting a decision. I have been going through this for over 2 years. I have lost everything, I am now sleeping on a friends couch. I have even lost my car. Then I face people who sit behide a desk, go to their home and sleep in their bed that I was approved almost 120 days ago, the 28th of this month. I called to find it is sitting on someones desk without a decision?? This process I pray not many are having to suffer through. I am at my tolerance level end. I can not walk very far nor stand or sit up for any lenght of time. I have Lupus and R.A. I also now has some masses, 9 of them in my spine and can not even find out what they are or are not. I look like someone off the movie of the walking dead. And there is even a question! How do these people sleep? I don't! God Bless All! Pray you do not fall ill. Because they take your money, then spend it on keeping you from getting it when you so desperately need it!
