A Roadmap of Special Interest and Deceit

This is a fascinating map from Raw Story outlining some of of the inter-relationships in the web of special interest and deceit that we currently call the Republican Party.  Missouri features prominently in the map, with the Blunts, and plenty of MO operatives like Thor Hearne, Jack Oliver, Tony Feather and more.

The Fraud Behind the RNC's Claims of Election Fraud

The RNC has a new front group, the American Center for Voting Rights, who's task is to go around making claims about election fraud.  They recently issued a report and press releases attacking 5 major cities for being too aggressive in trying to m

Looks like Raw Story's "fascinating map" made national news

MSNBC carried the Delay story with all the Indian tribes and Abramnoff.

Call for Googling Monkeys

Let's get the googling monkeys going to find out more about the Missouri Millenium Fund.  Post any findings here.

Blunt, Inc. Board of Directors

Check out the Blunt, Inc. Board of Directors.  Here's a hint.  It consists of two Blunts and a Lott, and doesn't include Roy or Trent.

More on MMF

MMF and Jerry Hunter

Note that Jerry Hunter is on the Board of the MMF.  He was on the selection panel for the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for Governor Matt Blunt and is also on Blunt's Government Reform Commission.

Go figure.

Looks like Republican dirt merchant and bagman extraordinaire Jack Abramoff was responsible for strongarming some tribal dollars into the "Missouri Millennium Fund".

Abramoff-related interests contributed to at least 100 members of Congress and political action committees in a four-year period, federal records show. Some of the PACs and so-called 527 organizations bear such names as "Friends of the Big Sky," "Rely on Your Beliefs Fund" and "Missouri Millennium Fund," revealing nothing about who controls them.

Even the mouth-breathers in the conservative media have stopped defending Abramoff.  Nice company the "Millennium Fund" is keeping...

thanks, I think

Thanks for the reference, Jeff.  How DO they sleep at night?

how do they sleep at night?

on top of a pile of money, with many beautiful ladies, of course!

Missouri Millenium Fund

Here's what the Center for Public Integrity has on MMF.

It is clearly an error that they say this committee was Gephardt's re-districting PAC.  It looks more like Blunt's.  In fact, it reads like a client list of Andy's or the old donor list for the Rely on Your Belief's committees.
