Bloggers are Getting Under Roy Blunt's Skin

In a recent "Air Gram" fundraising piece, Rep. Roy Blunt (K-Street) whined about bloggers to try to whip his supporters into a donating frenzy.  Here's what he had to say.

(Name redacted), you stood by my side in last year's election, and I feel truly fortunate to have such wonderful friends and supporters who will stand with me as we face the attacks of the liberal Democrats and their irresponsible internet bloggers.

Poor Roy, it never even occurs to him that it's his own unethical behavior that is causing him the problems.

Thankfully, he couldn't have been talking about Fired Up!, because we are members of RIBA (the Responsible Internet Bloggers Assoc.).

Poor Spoiled Crybaby Repugs...Not!

Frankly, I'm getting very sick of the likes of corrupt dishonest repugs like Roy Blunt, George Bush and well paid shills Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and the rest of their kind who everytime something doesn't go exactly their way, stamp their widdle feet, cry and whine like spoiled children how they are being oppressed by liberal elites (who actually haven't run much of anything in over 30 years!).

How utterly boring and totally manipulative this type of crass behavior is!  I know its all part of the repug play book and it obviously works on the politically naive, and over trusting souls among us.  But you'd think at some point, the public would wise up and start to realize how they are being played.

Specifically, case in point, wide-spread homophobia resulting in gay-marriage bans.  Okay, I realize its one of their codas that pushes the public's hot buttons to manipulate and deliberately upset the voters into voting repuglican - but I have to ask Is the GOP repug wo/manhood that fragile they believe homosexuals marrying will turn them into like individuals?

Definitely makes me wonder about just how shaky their pathetic egos really are that they must rely on endlessly taking cheap shots at minorities within our society.  Poor spoiled repuglican crybabies...not!

"irresponsible internet bloggers" vs. other bloggers

Maybe it's just me, but I'm completely puzzled about why Roy Blunt feels it necessary to single out as "irresponsible" those people who blog on "the internets".

I guess he's got no beef with non-internet bloggers, like Freewaybloggers, who he must consider eminently responsible.
