State Rep. Cynthia Davis: GOP Moralizer Defaulted on Student Loans; Sued By State

Frequent readers of Fired Up Missouri will recall that State Representative Cynthia Davis is facing ethics charges over her use of campaign money to pay her personal taxes.

Now comes word that she was sued by the State in 1992 for failing to repay government backed student loans.

The case is Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education v. Cynthia Davis (Cause # 11V019206043) and was filed in St. Charles County.

Who is going to break the news to Sinthia that she may not be living up to the same high standards she would legislate for the rest of us?

Is Sinthia Innocent? Maybe.

On Thursday, the State of Missouri's court case database listed Cynthia L. Davis DOB 11/23/59 as the defendant in the student loan case.  That's the same DOB listed on her official state bio.

Today, the case database lists the defendant as a Cynthia J. Davis.

Is Sinthia innocent?  Maybe on this charge.  My guess is she high tailed it to the courthouse on Friday to "correct" the entry.  We will have to check the paper court file first hand to confirm her innocence--- or guilt.

God Helps Those Who Help Themselves, to taxpayers' money.

Well, the Governor got a free college education at taxpayers' expense why not her.

Sinthia always knows how to get the most from the government

Rep Davis lives in O'Fallon, a city with municipal solid waste and recycling services for its residents.  Businessess are still required to contract with private haulers for their solid waste needs.  Davis owns a business in O'Fallon, a Christian Bookstore, but her business does not pay the much higher private hauler's business rate, no, again MS Davis manipulates the system and uses government to her advantage, side-steps the rules and uses the residential municipal service for her business.

Sinthia the Deadbeat

I'm waiting with baited breath to hear her story on how that happened. I'm sure it was all just a mistake (sound of me rolling my eyes and trying to keep coffee from spurting out my nose). I'd say if CBHE was the one suing her, she bailed on a MOHELA loan. Guess those are for fools like me to pay back, but not for her...
