Roy Blunt Acknowledges Using U.S. Treasury As A Political Piggy Bank

In this story on CAFTA, Rep. Roy Blunt (R-K Street) essentially acknowledges that he and the Bush Administration used the U.S. Treasury as a political piggy bank to buy votes for the trade agreement.

Rep. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., the House majority whip, played down reports that the White House was offering favors in return for votes. Oh yes, now I remember.  It's called quid pro quo and it is illegal, is it not?  The antics from D.C. and Jeff City, have to eventually wake up the voters in this state, don't they?  I can't believe there are only about ten of us in the whole state who have internet access, and who are so pissed we can't see straight!
