Steelman Outs Blunt on Borrow and Spend Approach; Steelman in '08?

Sarah Steelman is continuing her cold war against Matt Blunt.

In a news release earlier today, Steelman outed Blunt on his substantial borrowing from state reserve funds to pay basic state bills.

The Associated Press quickly pounced on the malicious disclosure and moved a story with the headline, "Cash flow trouble causes state to tap reserves". 

Like others before it, this episode highlights the growing possibility that Steelman will challenge Blunt for the 2008 GOP gubernatorial nomination.
