Congressional Scholar: Abramoff Scandal Worst In 100 Years

The scandal involving Jack Abramoff and GOP congressional leaders like Rep. Tom DeLay and Majority Leader Roy Blunt (R-K Street) has the potential to be the worst scandal in Congress in over a century, according to Thomas Mann, a scholar at the Brooking Institution. Mann made his comments in a story in today's NY Times.

Jonathan Singer over at MyDD does a nice job of disecting the story.

Here's some background on where the feds are most likely to begin their probe of the connections between Blunt and Abramoff.
