I recall seeing much propaganda about closing State License Offices and giving them to political cronies. The Branson office is operated by the Chamber of Commerce, a political high dollar plum for them. I went there today, expecting a long line, since it was the last week in the month and year, only to find the message on the door: Closed December 23, 26th and 27th. Here are the office hour posted on the Department of Revenue's website for the Branson License Office: BRANSON CONTRACT OFFICE 1447C STATE HIGHWAY 248 BRANSON, MO 65616-0000 Telephone: 417-334-2496 Fax: 417-339-4260 OFFICE HOURS MON - FRI 8:30 - 5:00 I hope they had a nice Holiday vacation, off Friday and Tuesday, a couple extra days, and the public be damned.
